Submit Your Short Film to the 9th Kurzfilm Festival Kufstein – “Turning Points: Movements of Change”

Every story has a turning point. What's yours?
What moment changed everything?

We’re proud to announce the 9th edition of the Kurzfilm Festival Kufstein, and this year, our theme is “Turning Points: Movements of Change”.

This year’s theme, Turning Points, positions the festival as an inclusive space where change becomes visible, meaningful, and shared. We explore moments of transformation in history, society, and personal lives, and invite our audience to reflect on how shifts in perspective lead to new understandings and unexpected insights. Through the power of short film, we highlight those critical moments that shape identities, challenge assumptions, and open up new ways of thinking, while connecting people across cultures through shared experiences.

Whether your film challenges perspectives, highlights unseen movements, or simply showcases a personal turning point, we want to see it!
