I am a dancer, choreographer, singer, and storyteller. But above all, I live life through creation—always exploring, always transforming.
I create and produce all of my own video work through Jazzville Productions, the independent company I co-founded with composer David Duffy. I conceive, write, choreograph, perform, direct, and produce. David scores, shapes, and builds the world of sound. Together, we create works that speak to something both intimate and universal.
Whatever the genre or way, my work always touches the same essential themes:
Spirituality, love and death, the mystery of being human.
– What does it mean to belong?
– How do we co-live with others?
- How can we bear contradictions and chaos of life?
– How can we be both cosmic unity and independent, diverse individuals?
My visual language is influenced by early cinema, jazz aesthetics, Chaplin, surrealism, physical theatre, silent films, and street art. I’ve been called “a Jazz Age Dance Maestro” by LA Magazine and “a contemporary jazz sensation who sees no limitations” by Hong Kong Magazine.
Outside of film, I’ve performed worldwide with ensembles including the Christian McBride Trio, Postmodern Jukebox, Barcelona Jazz Orchestra, and the Paris Opera Orchestra. I was the lead actress in Paris You Got Me (dir. Julie Boehm), a multi-award-winning short that fused dance and dreamlike visuals. I’ve released 4 albums—Something Else (2018), Something Different, Colours (2021) and Under The Roofs EP (2025)—exploring jazz, singer-songwriter, and acoustic expression.
I’m also the founder of Secrets of Solo, an online dance school with thousands of students around the world.
In all my work—on stage, on film, in music, in teaching—I return to the similar questions and themes:
Humanity. Spirituality. The complexity of life. The courage to live and make choices.
