Kristian Irgl was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2000.

He has participated in numerous local and international filmmaking workshops in Rab, Croatia, Ljubljana, Maribor and Vienna. He has also worked on a few bigger productions for a music video and on a feature film as an assistant and an actor.

He is currently studying at the Academy of theatre, radio, film and television in Ljubljana, Slovenia where he is specializing in film directing. BACK TO US is his first critically acclaimed and an award-winning short film.
