I am a Latina cinematographer based in Los Angeles. I have a B.A in Communication with a minor in Photography and M.F.A in Cinematography from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles California.
I considered myself a creative individual with a unique skill set and strong appreciation for photojournalism and aesthetics. A fascination with the art of self-expression and an immeasurable appreciation for film is what initially drew me to cinematography. Before becoming a cinematographer I worked in the fashion industry for 10 years, in areas like marketing and buying. Since being in Los Angeles I have had the chance to combine my experience in fashion and film. Having also lived in New York City and London where I had the opportunity to freelance in production while taking in different environments adding to my personal work style. My work now consists of shooting short narratives, commercials, editorials and documentaries. I am also a proud member of WIF , Chicanas Directors Initiative ,Women in Media and an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators.
