Kizito Samuel Saviour is a multi-award-winning Ugandan Filmmaker, Creative Director & Producer, Writer, Cinematographer & Editor whose work spans over a decade in film, television, and digital storytelling, film education and continental mentorship & consultancy with proven ability to develop high-impact content, lead creative teams, and drive audience growth across African and international markets.
As Founder of the Uganda Academy Selection Committee, the official body that selects Uganda’s submissions for the International Feature Film (Oscars), Kizito has played a pivotal role in internationalising Ugandan cinema and amplifying African voices.
Served as a juror for the International Emmy Awards, Regal Film Festival & Awards, Mashariki African Film Festival, South African Film & Television Awards, Rustenburg Film Festival, Accra Indie Film Fest and The African Film Festival (USA) among others, his voice bridges artistry and governance. He is a Talents Durban 2025, DFMI Business Lab 2026 and Cinemadamare 2026 Alumnus.

He has also been recognized for his entrepreneurial endeavors, being nominated as Entertainment Founder of the Year at the Founder of The Year Awards (FOYA) 2021.
Kizito's commitment to the film industry extends to global platforms, as seen in his role as an evaluator judge for the 2022 Netflix - UNESCO African Folktales Reimagined Short Film Competition. He has shared his insights as a panelist at events such as "The Conversation: Monetizing Digital Content" at the Intra-African Trade Fair 2021 in Durban, South Africa.
