Presenter of the work
The Kinos Film Festival is a cultural project produced by the Päijät-Hämeen Film Centre. The Kinos is produced by a separately appointed working group at any given time. The group selects the works to be presented. The working group does not justify the choices or provide feedback on the works.
Transfer of the work for performance use without compensation
The authors transfer the performance rights to the Päijät-Hämeen Film Centre for the performance of the work subject to the agreement without compensation in connection with the Kinos Festival. The selected works will be presented in Lahti at the Kino Iiris cinema on March 21, 2026. Other possible performance rights will be discussed on a case-by-case basis with the authors/producers of the work in separate agreements.
Right to transfer the performance right
The authors or their representatives hereby confirm that they have the right to transfer the performance right to the work. The authors are also responsible for the music usage licenses.
Liability for damages
The authors shall compensate any claims of copyright organizations or copyright holders in accordance with the damage caused to the Päijät-Häme Film Center or its partners.
Validity of the agreement
The agreement is valid until March 21, 2026. The parties to the agreement may terminate the agreement with a notice period of two (2) weeks. No justification is required for termination.
Resolution of disputes
Disputes arising from the agreement or its breach shall be resolved in the Päijät-Häme District Court.
