Kinocaravan is a travelling cinema housed inside a fully equipped camper, bringing short films on the road across Italy.
From major cities such as Rome, Palermo, and Rimini to remote Alpine villages and seaside locations, Kinocaravan creates unique screening experiences wherever people gather. In 2026, the project will tour through 20 events across Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Calabria, and Sicily.
Our goal is simple: to bring short films closer to audiences. By transforming squares, gardens, beaches, and unconventional spaces into open-air cinemas, we create opportunities for discovery, dialogue, and connection between filmmakers and the public.
The events are enriched with musical performances, art exhibitions, and photography displays, creating a multi-disciplinary cultural experience.
The showcase has two clear goals: to rediscover the cinema as a space for connection and social reflection, and to continue promoting short films without age restrictions, while concretely supporting filmmakers with a 70$ fee for each selected and screened work.
Kinocaravan is not just a festival; itโs a shared experience that celebrates short films as a form of art and dialogue.
A total of 2.800$ for the shorts selected. We offer 70$ fee for every selected short film.
