Kimberly Smith is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a recent graduate of Full Sail University, where she earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing specializing in writing for entertainment.
Kimberly began her writing career after graduating from Florida State University as an English major. She toured as a spoken Word artist with the poetry troupe Black on Black Rhyme. Later publishing a collection of Poetry Edge of Light: A Women’s Soulful Requiem of Love. She then became a secondary English instructor and teaching artist giving back to the community empowering young writers.
