The winning Mini Doc will be screened and awarded at the Premiere of the 72hr Kickass Film Festival in front of 300 attendees at the Sangre De Cristo Arts Center on April 5, 2025.

Rules & Terms

Kickass Mini Doc Award – Rules & Terms

Films must be a documentary based on a true story and completed within the past five years (2020 or later).

Maximum length is 10 minutes, no minimum.

Direct promotional videos for businesses, products, or services without a strong narrative are not eligible. The film must be story-driven.

Submissions must be in a high-quality digital format (MP4 or MOV).
Non-English dialogue must have subtitles.

The filmmaker must own the rights to all content used, including footage, music, and graphics.
