Kharkiv MeetDocs Eastern Ukrainian Film Festival є найбільшим кінофорумом на сході України. У 2020-му Kharkiv MeetDocs відбудеться вже вчетверте.
І вперше, завдяки підтримці Українського культруного фонду, фестиваль проведе Національний конкурс повнометражних неігрових фільмів, вироблених в Україні, або у копродукції.
Також, буде проведений конкурс короткометражних фільмів, вироблених без державного фінансування «Бардак online».
Показ конкурсних програм відбудеться у форматі online, на офіційному сайті кінофестивалю http://meetdocsfestival.com

Online-частина кінофестивалю пройде із 26 по 29 жовтня.

Kharkiv MeetDocs Eastern Ukrainian Film Festival is the biggest film forum of east Ukraine. In 2020 Kharkiv MeetDocs will have its fourth edition.

For the first time, thanks to the support from the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the festival will hold the National competition of feature-length documentary films produced in Ukraine or in co-production.

Also, the festival include Bardak Online, the competition of short films produced without state funding.

The screenings of competition programs will take place online, on the official website http://meetdocsfestival.com

The online part of the festival is scheduled for October 26-29.

Rules & Terms

До розгляду на участь у Національному конкурсі Kharkiv MeetDocs допускаються неігрові повнометражні фільми (від 50 хвилин), вироблені в Україні або в копродукції не раніше 1 січня, 2019 року.

Feature-length (50 minutes or more) documentary films, produced in Ukraine or in coproduction are eligible for submission to the National Competition of Kharkiv MeetDocs

До розгляду на участь у конкурсі "Бардак online" допускаються:

- Фільми зроблені українцями. Українець в команді може виконувати будь-яку роль;
- Короткометражні фільми створені за останні 4 років; для свіжих робіт (до 2-х років) пропонуємо все ж брати участь в офлайн-частині;
- Фільми, зняті без державних грошей;
- Фільми не обмежені в жанрах: приймаємо ігрові та документальні, приймаємо драми, комедії, пародії, анімацію, римейки, шведінги, відеопоезію, експерименти;
- Максимальна довжина фільму – 45 хвилин;
- Фільми можуть бути подані режисером, продюсером, дистриб'ютором або офіційним представником;
- Особа, що подає фільм на розгляд, несе відповідальність за дотримання з боку фільму авторських/суміжних прав і бере на себе відповідальність та повноваження вести подальші переговори з Фестивалем;
- Прем'єрна політика: без обмежень;
- Фільми українською та російською мовами можна подати на розгляд без субтитрів;
- Фільми іншими мовами, подані на розгляд, повинні мати українські субтитри

The Bardak Online Competition accepts following submissions:
- Films made by Ukrainians. A Ukrainian in the crew may perform any role;
- Short films made within past 4 years; for newer pieces (up to two years old) we suggest the offline section;
- Films produced without state funding;
- Films are not restricted by genres: we accept fiction and documentaries, dramas, comedies, parodies, animation, remakes, swedings, video poetry, experimental;
- Maximum length of the films: up to 45 minutes;
- Films could be submitted by the director, producer, distributor, or the official representative;
- A person who submits the film for selection holds the responsibility for the film’s copyright and is responsible for carrying the negotiations with the Festival;
- Premiering policy: no restrictions;
- The films in Ukrainian or Russian could be submitted without subtitles;
- The films in other languages must be submitted with Ukrainian subtitles
