Kevin Contento is a LatinX filmmaker currently based in South Florida. His debut feature film, “The Conference of the Birds” world premiered in Paris, France and went on to win the Feature Narrative Award at the 2021 New Orleans Film Festival. His sophomore feature combines a Persian parable with cinema verite to illustrate the beauty of fatherhood in the south. His work has been featured in festivals around the world including: Slamdance, Miami, and New Orleans. A frequent collaborator, Contento most recently worked with directors Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan on their latest documentary “Naked Gardens,” which world premiered in competition at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival.
