Driven by social commentary and the subtle behaviours humans display when put in uncomfortable situations, all my scripts and short films start important conversations that are often considered taboo.

The last short 'You are Cold' tells a story about a socially under-developed man failing to understand the boundaries around consent and relationships. This, along with 'Happy Retirement Mr Pickering' continues my style of telling authentic stories on under-represented groups in the most palatable way - through the lens of dark comedy.

In addition to directing, working as a doctor in the highly-pressurised environment of A&E has equipped me with transferrable skills such as strong time management and
interpersonal communication skills. Since a young age my passion for filmmaking and using the medium of cinema as an instrument to bring change has always been pertinent to me.
