My journey towards filmmaking wasn't the usual journey. Eventually, I picked up the camera and started creating stories, but that was after I changed my point of view. I wanted to be in front of the camera and act, and I believe that is why I am so obsessed with characters and stories today. I am not extremely concerned with if I'm shooting 8K or if I'm shooting on film. If the film is boring or uninteresting as a concept or story does it really matter what it looks like?
My goal as a filmmaker has always been to try to tell unique interesting stories from a different point of view. I've always had a very strange imagination and sense of humor, and I try to incorporate both into every film I make. I vowed long ago I will never direct something I wasn't directly involved in writing this is how dedicated I am to creating unique and original stories that genuinely mine. I am constantly trying to discover new and original ideas to one day bring to the screen. Ultimately I would love to make a living doing what I love and that is creating fresh and new stories that can bring something to the audience's lives.
