Overview:
Kenan Music was born on August 19, 1994, in Sarajevo. At the age of 18 he was claimed as the youngest European film director and producer after he directed his first feature movie at the age of 17, then his second feature movie at the age of 21. Today, Kenan is managing the biggest youth film festival in Europe and writing columns and political and socially engaged articles for many premie news portals in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He combines his interest in film and festival management with the aim to produce and organize events that gather community and young people. He is involved in socially engaged films and festivals that deal with films and topics that can influence political events in the world. He has visited over 30 festivals of this type around the world. He has been a member of the jury at several such festivals including the Ajyal Film Festival in Doha, and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. Worked for TRT World, Al Jazeera, and Anadolu Agency. Participated in and organized 400+ events, such as festivals, conferences, concerts, sports games, and panels in 8 countries all over the world.
Experienced and dedicated Production manager, event producer, film director, and Marketing Manager with 7+ years in the film, TV, festival, and conference industry, who worked in all branches of the industry acquiring creative skills. Worked directly or indirectly with Netflix, HBO, Universal Pictures, and Amazon Prime Video recently.
He has many acquaintances, and contacts from the event industry, film, production, marketing, and PR agencies throughout the world.
The ability to manage larger groups of people, work under pressure and the ability to work on parallel projects at the same time is something that makes him one of the most popular young producers in the Balkans. Dedicated, and communicative with creative and unconventional views of the world.
