Comic books. Sci-fi. Comedy. Three of Ken's favorite things. From directing a feature film adaptation of the brooding urban fantasy graphic novel "Penny Palabras," to co-writing and directing the sprawling sixteen-episode science-fiction comedy epic "Dead Drift," and "Roscoe the Junkyard Cat," a comedy pilot about a junkyard cat looking for a better life. Ken unashamedly wears his geek credentials on his sleeve. Most recently Ken wrote, drew, and successfully crowdfunded the first two issues of his independent grindhouse horror-comic "Hellbound Slant6," with two more issues on the way.
Now he hopes you'll laugh along with him and many of the cast and crew of Roscoe, Penny Palabras, and Dead Drift, join Ken to craft a proof-of-concept for a feature mockumentary about adults addicted to fantasy board-gaming.
Ken lives with his wife Allison and their feisty Jack Russell pupper Darla in Tumwater, Washington, where he works as a Carpenter at Washington State's sprawling Capitol campus. With his spare time he plans to keep making films that bring laughter to himself and others.
Penny Palabras and Dead Drift are both available on The Fantasy Network.
