Born in Turkey in 1973, I had to leave my country at the age of 5 because my father, a university professor, was killed by terrorists. I lived in France for 8 years and then in Italy, as my mother was Italian.
I define me as a Turkish Italian man who traveled a lot. I felt different in my live for all the different experiences I had, comparing to "normal" people.
My passion was music and arts. I then discovered filmmaking as a way of communicating my feelings and emotions through other people stories.
I'm still working on a documentary on the story of my father, Bedrettin Comert, as I recently wanted to discover my roots and the relationship with my father.
