Keesha Chung is an emerging Toronto based filmmaker. Before making her directorial debut with "grey area" she worked in film, media, content production, and the arts for over 10 years. Keesha began her career as a professional model and segued into working behind the camera as a producer, director, and writer. She has worked as a TV host, model, segment producer, creative director, video editor, writer, programming coordinator, graphic designer, event producer, and event moderator.
After graduating from Concordia University with a BA in Women’s Studies, Keesha co-founded Collective Culture, a platform highlights the voices and experiences of BIPOC through content development and programming. In December 2020 she graduated from Humber’s Film and Multiplatform Storytelling Program with honours. She worked at Scarborough Pictures as an Associate Producer on CBC Gem's Next Stop. She is currently a part of Bell Media's prestigious Graduate Leadership Program.
Her goal with all her all her creative endeavours is to challenge representations politics and highlight the voices and stories of creatives of colour that inspire her.
