Kathleen currently lives and writes in London. She’s spent a formative portion of her career working with people living with dementia who have inspired her to write about the darker parts of life through lenses of humour and solidarity. Consequently, her writing explores themes of loss and loneliness with a bittersweet edge. Kathleen has studied screenwriting under producer Carl Schoenfeld and had a script recently long-listed for the U.K. Film Festival. Kathleen enjoys crafting complex female characters that simply refuse to live a quiet life and do what they’re told. She also enjoys crafting. Although she has decided knitting is the devil’s work, (read: she’s quite bad at it).
