I usually say I flew before I could walk! Coming from a highly mixed, international background I’ve grown up across the span of several countries and cultures. This has led me to have a passion for cultures, history and people. I made my first films, “borrowing” my dad’s Super8 silent movie camera and recording sound on a Fisher Price tape recorder I then used to synch the two up with. My Dad and I would then sit and cut and glue the edit together.
Classic, cinematic music grabbed me from an equally early age and led me to discover many classic films. It helped spark my interest in composing and making music, which in turn, led me to pursue a degree in Audio Production in London. Following that, I was finally in an environment that gave me the opportunity for me to finally focus on my initial love; that of acting. After completing my first course I decided I needed to put my money where my mouth is and couldn’t expect others to put theirs on me if I wasn’t willing to do the same. So I wrote and produced my first short film. The purpose was to allow myself to gain experience, a first credit and showreel material. Little did I know just how much I would learn from that experience!
Since then, I’ve moved to Copenhagen, which I now have as a base and pursue acting internationally as well as locally. I have a strong focus on championing Diversity in Casting in everything I do as this is something I have felt the impact of since I started in this business.
