Karen Hernandez is a Latina, native-born, Bay Area Actress. Although animated and cheerful in real-life, whether it’s comedy or drama, Karen LOVES to embody characters of all types.

She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor in Communication and a Minor in Performing Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, CA. Shortly after graduation, she explored the thought of attaining a Masters in Fine Arts; but, even after receiving offers from 18 different colleges around the country, she took the gamble and decided her journey as a professional actor would begin in the Bay Area.

Since then, Karen has broadened her experience and talents in print, commercial, and on-camera. When she’s not in front of the camera, Karen loves to cook, find new foods to try, watch Masterchef, and binge watch the most popular series out. Karen is also a director whose talents have led her to be Double Emmy-Nominated in Northern California in 2021 and 2022. Even then, she never stops learning. She knows that you can never learn enough about the human mind in others, and even herself. That’s why she is constantly taking workshops and classes whether it’s online or in-person- because hard work will gift you the ability to play and make a fool of yourself.
