Kaila Prescott has recently received a dual BFA degree in Global Film art from the American institution of Emerson College and Paris College of art based in Paris, France. Through the language of film, Kaila’s work is the product of investigating personal discoveries that come from her intersectional worldview; as a Caribbean - American. With a collection of short films in her register, Kaila is a rising visual artist, open to expression through diverse mediums. Her capstone film, “The Angel’s Trumpet” had its debut at the Bright II theater in Boston in a private screening. Originating from New York City, Kaila maintains relations with her home though is currently based in Paris, France.
