Kagho Idhebor earned a Professional Diploma and a degree in Film Production from the National Film Institute, Jos, and later completed an Advanced Cinematography program with the German-funded One Fine Day Films in Nairobi.
His short film The Broken Mask won Best Short Film at the AMVCA 2024 and the Audience Award at the Surreal 16 Film Festival 2022. His debut photo essay Burkina Babes screened at BFI London’s Film Africa under the Beyond Nollywood program, as well as at the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO).
A two-time AMVCA nominee for Best Cinematographer, his work on The Weekend was selected for the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and won Best Cinematography at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2024.
He is currently based in Lagos, Nigeria.
