Kabbo Kabir, an 19-year-old aspiring filmmaker and screenwriter from Bogra, Bangladesh. Currently studying in the 12th grade of the Humanities department at Govt. Azizul Haque College. Kabir has always been driven by a passion for storytelling and strives to come up with new and existing ideas to spread positive messages through his work.
He also worked as an editor & cinematographer. As an editor and cinematographer, Kabir brings a fresh perspective to his work and is constantly pushing the boundaries of traditional filmmaking. A visual person at heart, Kabir is always striving to learn more about the craft of filmmaking and is constantly developing new ideas for stories to tell. He loves attending film festivals and watching indie films. He sees it as an opportunity to immerse himself in the world of filmmaking, learn from other filmmakers, and draw inspiration from their work.
Kabir believes that he has the potential to be a great filmmaker. His belief in his potential as a filmmaker stems from his passion for storytelling, his ability to think outside the box, and his willingness to take risks.
Over the past few years, Kabir has worked on various projects. His hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and he has won several awards for his work. In 2020, he won 2nd place at the Oqros Pepela ICFF. In 2021-22, he won five awards, including the '2nd Best Film' in 14th Int'l Children's Film Festival Bangladesh 2021, for his short film "Trikonomiti." Kabir has also received 25 more selections from his three short films, which is a testament to his talent and dedication to the craft.
