IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION

Rules & Terms – Kala-Samruddhi International Film Festival (KSIFF) 2026
Important Notice

All official communication regarding a submitted film will be conducted only with the submitter or the authorized rights holder/producer listed in the submission.
To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, the Festival will not respond to inquiries regarding the selection status from actors, crew members, or any third party who is not the official submitter.
Any attempt to influence the Festival, pressure the selection committee, or obtain confidential information through unauthorized channels may result in the immediate disqualification of the film. In serious cases, the Festival reserves the right to refuse future submissions from the individual or production company involved.
Eligibility
KSIFF 2026 is open to filmmakers from all countries.
Films of all genres and durations are accepted according to the respective submission categories.
Multiple submissions from the same filmmaker or production company are welcome. Each film must be submitted separately.
Submission Requirements
Films in languages other than English must include accurate English subtitles.
Each submission requires a separate entry form and payment.
Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Submitted films should be the original work of the applicant, who must own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions.
Awards Eligibility
To be considered for Special Awards (such as Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Experimental Film, etc.), the film must first be submitted in its appropriate main competition category (Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, Animation, Student Film, etc.).
Films submitted only to Special Award categories will not be considered unless they are also entered in an eligible main category.
Selection Process
All submissions will be reviewed by the Festival Selection Committee.
The Festival reserves the right to determine the eligibility and appropriate category of every submission.
Submission does not guarantee Official Selection or screening.
Judging
All decisions made by the Festival Jury and Festival Committee are final and cannot be challenged or appealed.
The Festival is under no obligation to provide comments, feedback, or scoring for non-selected films.
Rights & Permissions
By submitting a film, the submitter confirms that they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the film, including music, images, and other copyrighted material.
The submitter agrees to indemnify and hold the Festival harmless from any claims arising from copyright or legal disputes.
Screening & Promotion
Officially Selected films may be screened during KSIFF 2026.
The Festival may use film stills, posters, trailers (up to 2 minutes), and promotional materials for marketing, publicity, social media, website, catalogue, and press purposes.
General
The Festival reserves the right to amend these Rules & Terms whenever necessary.
Participation in KSIFF 2026 constitutes full acceptance of all Festival Rules & Terms.
