Growing up in Alabama doesn't make it easy to be seen on the film circuit, but I'm determined to break the mold.
My name is Kristopher Wayne Dewberry, Jr. I was raised in a small town approximately twenty minutes outside Auburn, AL.
I discovered my love for storytelling early on. As a child I begin delving into Animation and short story writing, eventually bringing the two together.
When I was thirteen I received my first camera and thus my love for filmmaking began. I took three years of theatre classes in high school and would spend my free time filming with my classmates. All of my money from work went into my projects. High school is where I realized my talent for Directing and my career path was set.
Over the past four years of college I have developed my passion and talent into skill and knowledge. There have been many trials and ended friendships. However, my love and passion for film has never wavered.
From making videos with my friends in high school to attending film festivals as a competitor and now having worked every job from a Production Assistant to Assistant Director, this is what I was made to do.
Film is my life.
