At a very young age I was deeply intrigued with filmmaking, and the illusion it took to bring the magic on screen. I would borrow cameras from family members to create my very own "works of art", including the time I set our driveway on fire for that epic once in a lifetime shot for my film about an earthquake that opened up the pits of hell unleashing it's furry on the ground above. Of course, my mom wasn't too thrilled I almost set the shed on fire using half a gallon of gasoline. Even so, my mom knew I had a passion and eventually bought me my first video camera. It was a Magnavox from Circuit City (remember those?). I beat that camera to death to get the shots I wanted, and from that day on I set out to be a creator. So what does a kid do with no computer? He uses VCRs and cheap title generators to make movie magic! After high school I went on to pursue broadcasting and worked for a local television station, had some wonderful internships and made great friends along the way. To this day I have been working in advertising, doing motion graphics, editing and camera work. I am married to my beautiful wife Kerrie and we have a four year old daughter Caroline, who keeps us on our toes daily. Speaking of kids, I still feel like one, and the magic of making movies hasn't gone away. That's the reason I set out to produce my first real short film "The Elucidation". My love for film and storytelling has always been there deep down ready to open itself up, just maybe not like fire on a driveway! I am inspired at the thought of moving others, making them think & question, or to just take them on a beautiful journey. I am so honored to share just a small part of me with you and I would like to thank you so very much for your time.
