My name is Juliette Tellier,
I am 28 years old and I am a professional dancer, choreographer and artistic director.
I am currently working with Jasmin Vardimon Company in the UK, with Kafig by Mourad Merzouki in France and Next Zone Company in Denmark.

I am always looking for new experiences that will enrich my creativity, my imagination, and strengthen my means of expression.

Art lover, I consider dance as a unique and singular way to explore the archaic sensations of movement (animal, fetal, etc.), to feel my heart beat, my veins, to feel my inner flow, my strengths and weaknesses, and to test my freedom.

My professional career has reinforced my taste for effort and daily work. It has given me the opportunity to define what I wish to say, do, and express through my art.

As a dancer, I performed for "La Couleur de la Grenade" choreographed by Mourad Merwouki. I also performed "Joyous" and "4 Horsemen" choreographed by Next Zone Company in Denmark. I also performed for "Now" ,"Tannhauser" and "Alice" choreographed by Jasmin Vardimon Company, in UK . I also performed for "Out of Range", by Saeed Hani and Giovanni Zazzera in Luxembourg and in Trier. It was a show, where I had the opportunity to explore full nudity, in a really safe and poetic way. I also performed for « Kissing Rebellion » a creative show by C. Defrin and A.Boucher in London in UK.
Also, I choreographed in "Nightshifter" by Temper Theatre and in « Travelling with Thomas » for a folk musical in UK in 2019-2020. As a part of Collectif Art-y-show I also choreographed and performed a duet « Quien escucha, quien sigue » at Vin&Valsen dance festival in Norway. I had the opportunity to dance and perform in different movies project, one directed directed by Elio Gervasi, « In Abeyance », another one directed directed by Omar Salhi « New realities », and the last one directed by Dominique Tellier « Tierra y fuego ».

During the lockdown, I made my first short film in 4 chapters (Vitale, Viral, Virus, Us). I had chosen two dancers with very different styles. On the basis of a creative laboratory, we tested the possibilities offered by the absence of space in personal interactions, the relationship to the body, to others and to oneself (our human relationships, our conditioning, the rise of a global psychosis, etc). An enriching process through which I was able to practice my pedagogy, receive constructive feedback, develop my own universe and be deeply inspired by that of my dancers.

I made my second short movie "ABOUT" after I dreamed about it. I followed my instinct and made it happened with the help of my friends.
"About" is the manifestation of an entity that can only exist at night. It moves and develops as a stimulus to counteract loneliness, melancholy and depression. It spreads through the psyche of the individual, authorizing the forbidden, it is imaginary, therapy and memories.

I just made my third short movie "Koori" during a road trip with my partner in Iceland. "Koori" is inspired directly by the last sequence of the movie "Shakespeare in Love" directed by John Madden. Indeed, during the credits we see a woman walking from behind on a deserted beach after having been shipwrecked. A new world opens up to her, a new page, a rebirth.
