Juliette Gillies is an award-winning screenwriter and multidisciplinary artist based in Sydney, Australia. She studied screenwriting at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and documentary filmmaking at the University of Sydney. She was ranked in the top 14% on Coverfly in 2025.

Juliette is a three time jury member for KORK International Horror Film Festival and mini short judge for 2025 SF3 film festival. She is a freelance screenplay editor and has judged several short screenplay competitions, including the 2023 season of NYC Midnight.

Her debut short, The Weight of Water, screened at the 2025 SF3 Film Festival and she has two projects currently in pre-production, a stop-motion short based on her micro horror script Control, and a found footage horror web series.

Juliette is a passionate advocate for inclusion in the arts and is an emerging producer, focused on development and microbudgeting.
