The message of this film is about how we all go through tough times in life and this is about one person’s way to deal with it. A story about ‘getting back in the saddle’. The short film The Journey portrays the emotions and the journey of life. Its’ about understanding for every problem big or small there will be a solution, you just don’t know it yet. Self discovery is one of the main themes in this short film, the story emphases the qualities of trust, empathy, kindness, courage, and a reminder to never give up. This is a film with its heart in Jersey, Channel Islands and the words spoken are in our traditional Jèrriais language. Nature and the natural landscape is also an important part of the story and set in the countryside and on the beach, our beautiful coastline and in the classroom. This amazing short film has been produced by Green Eye Productions a Jersey Channel Island production company with global access to world markets.

Message from the Producer: I want to see film making mean inclusive. I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 48 and I am driven by doing everything I can to support 'talent' from all walks of life and backgrounds. La Passerelle Students who created the short film Lé Viage. I have worked in the film industry all of my entire life from the bottom up. I have learnt how to seek a better way of creating films in a safe and more caring environment. I never stop learning. I want to be the best Producer I can be and to seek opportunities for those people with talent that are getting left behind. Talent is Talent. Eight years ago my career was flying high then my Father got Parkinsons so I cared for him for 8 years full time and gave up my dream for a while and sadly he passed away, I learnt a lot caring for my Dad that to be a great Producer you must be selfless not selfish and allow people you work with to flourish and I've learnt so much having cared for my Father and it was a great privilege. Thank you for reading and I hope all carers know they have dreams too.
