Dedicated to never growing up, to finding the amazing in the mundane, and telling stories that are unique and wonderfully ridiculous. My goal is to make films that don’t just show the world as it is but also as it could be.

Julia is a self-taught DIY-indie-filmmaker. Beginning her career as an intern, she moved up to a Production Manager by her second film. Since then, Julia has been a Production Manager on three films and a web series, in addition to making infomercials and working on other small projects.
After being diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and going on her first mishap-ridden road trip, Julia began writing about lost dreams, wanderers and mental disorder in a script that became her debut feature film: "A Girl, A Boy, A Penny and a Very, Very, Very Long Road".
As Julia tours her debut film in the 2019 festival circuit, she is beginning to work on the development stages of "The Uncanny Valley", a short script she wrote with Jacqueline Godbout, one of the leads of "A Girl, A Boy, A Penny and a Very, Very, Very Long Road".
