Dedicated to never growing up, to finding the amazing in the mundane, and telling stories that are unique and wonderfully ridiculous. My goal is to make films that don’t just show the world as it is but also as it could be.
Julia has been telling stories for as long as she can remember, stories that take people into new worlds, give them something to believe in, and the strength to believe in themselves. Always eager for the next adventure, Julia’s hope is to tell stories that spark the imagination, bring life to dreams, and perhaps a place to call home.
Julia attended The University of Toronto where she acquired a Specialist in Cinema Studies and a Minor in English Studies. Julia's first feature film "A Girl, A Boy, A Penny and a Very, Very, Very Long Road" is currently on Hollywood Suite and her short film "The Uncanny Valley" is on various streaming platforms. Julia's latest short film, "The Invisibles" is beginning its festival circuit in the fall of 2024.
