Juan Francisco Salazar is a Sydney-based, Chilean researcher, author and documentary filmmaker. He has developed creative projects including documentary films and video installations in Australia, Chile, Antarctica, Colombia, Cambodia, and Vanuatu. His previous films have been screened internationally in over 25 countries including CPHDOX, Vision du Réel, Biennale of Sydney, Serpentine Gallery (UK). He is a Professor at Western Sydney University where he teaches documentary film studies and environmental studies.
