My name is Juliana, but you can call me Ju. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and now I'm living in San Diego, California. At age 15 I got my first camera and fell in love with photography. A few years later I started traveling around the world. At 24, I quit my job as a product designer and went to live in Indonesia, where I started working professionally with outdoor photo and video. Since then, I've worked with some of the most talented Brazilian surfers and athletes from other sports; Producing content for their sponsors and for a Sports/Travel TV channel in Brazil.
It's been 6 years since I decided to explore different fields of cinematography including; Fashion, luxury hotel videos, short films and documentaries.
I always create with a meaningful message because all my inspiration comes from my heart. Inspiring people and spreading the good word is what I like to do the most. I definitely see better through my camera, because I see beauty everywhere. Being able to make special moments last forever and share inspiring stories is one of my biggest motivations.
