Joy Roulier Sawyer is a screenwriter and author with a weakness for Dairy Queen. She's a longtime creative writing instructor at Denver's Lighthouse Writers Workshop, and holds an MA from New York University, where she was the recipient of the Herbert Rubin Award for Outstanding Creative Writing. One year, she spent more money on movies than groceries.
