Eventually, his family settled in Pennsylvania, where he attended high school. After graduating, Josh's passion for acting ignited, leading him to immerse himself in Theatre Arts at Temple University. This experience deepened his interest and paved the way for his journey to Los Angeles through a "study away" program.

Throughout his life, filmmaking has been a constant companion. From a young age, he enjoyed creating prank videos, skate films, comedy skits, and documentaries. Upon moving to Los Angeles, acting became his primary focus, yet he always found time to create sketches and short films to keep his skills sharp. As the years passed, his dedication to filmmaking intensified, leading him to explore writing feature films and taking filmmaking more seriously.

His short films have garnered him numerous awards in directing, writing, and acting, with a notable achievement as a semi-finalist at Flicker's Rhode Island International Film Festival.
