Jorrit is an award-winning film and documentary director and producer originally from the Netherlands. He began his career at 18 as a radio producer and presenter before earning a bachelor’s degree in television journalism. By the age of 23, he was producing television shows for Dutch National Television and earned his first award for a music video featuring The Guardian Angels in Los Angeles, followed by a short video documentary about Mother Teresa in Calcutta.
Splitting his time between Europe and California, Jorrit has created notable TV series for national broadcasters, including Rodeo Drive and Ranking the Cars, both centered around rare and exotic automobiles in Las Vegas and Hollywood. His portfolio includes several award-winning feature films and short movies produced and directed across both continents.
Jorrit’s one-hour documentary about Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis Presley’s manager, premiered theatrically to critical acclaim before airing on Dutch National Television. In February 2023, his feature film Fair Weather Road premiered at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. His 2025 feature The Golden Hours premiered in Santa Barbara to a sold-out 250-seat audience and went on to win multiple awards at international film festivals.
Fluent in English, French, and Dutch, Jorrit has directed and produced projects around the globe — from Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to France and throughout Europe — bringing a distinctly international vision to his storytelling.
