Jordi Torra brings more than 20 years of experience photographing pastry and haute cuisine. He has consolidated an outstanding career working with renowned chefs and pastry chefs such as Jordi Butrón, Paolo Casagrande, Javier Guillén or Lluc Crusellas. They define him as ‘the big surprise’, ‘suspicious’, ‘ingenious’ or ‘capable of capturing what the pastry artist wants to show’. His knowledge and understanding of pastry making have been reflected in his collaboration in the creation of books such as ‘Mini’ by Xavi Donnay and ‘El Método Espaisucre’ by Jordi Butrón, where he has contributed with his wide skills. His versatility has led him to collaborate with brands outside the pastry industry, including Swatch, Martini, Freixenet and Planeta Gastro.
LLuc, a pastry chronicle is his first foray in documentary film. Nonetheless he has been as well contributing to commercial campaigns in video for well known chefs and brand in the culinary trade.
