Jonne Covers is a choreographer, contemporary dance teacher and film maker from the Netherlands, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is educated within the performing arts field, she has a bachelor in Dance in Education from ArtEZ (NL) and a master in Contemporary Performative Arts from Högskolan för Scen och Musik (SE).

Jonne characterises herself with an interest in combining art forms. She has been collaborating with many musicians, composers, writers and actors in her work. In 2016 she fell in love with film when she created her first dance film 'Amuse', in collaboration with director Ivo van Aart. In the spring of 2021 her second dance film 'Dear tree, please don't spill on our grave.' premieres, opening space for Jonne to develop the script of a new film.
