Jonathan Shaheri is a Persian-American director, writer, actor, and Emmy-winning composer. Raised in Los Angeles, he has been directing films since his teens. As a composer, he worked with Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers and now leads SHĀHERI, a 70s-inspired Persian music group. The Rake is his passion project, years in the making, that reflects his deep connection to his heritage and cinematic vision.
