Jon Gill has been making films for as long as he can remember. In his head.
Age 19 he progressed to a domestic Panasonic video camera and so it continued until 2011 when he got an iPad and realised for the first tie ever he could shoot and edit on a single device.
Today, he teaches mobile filmmaking to small business, communications teams, corporate organisations and beyond – anyone looking to tell truthful authentic stories using the movie studios in our purse and pockets.
In his spare time he makes intimate documentaries from 60seconds to 60 mins.
His 5 min short "A Perfectly Healthy Situation" about a cinema projectionist in Scotland won him a $10,000 category prize at FiLMiCFest 2019 and the "Best Documentary" at Dublin SmartPhone Film Festival 2020.
