John Daniel is an actor based out of Toronto, Canada. He grew up just an hour north of the city performing in his hometowns local theatre before attending theatre school.

Before attending; he became an alumni of Second City Toronto’s Conservatory program, appeared as a recurring antagonist in The Hardy Boys (Hulu, 2022–2023), and played Simon MacDonald-Venturi in Life with Luca (2023), a reboot of the iconic Canadian Family Channel series Life with Derek.

During his schooling, he was called away from class to star in the indie feature Lucky Weekend, the directorial debut of Kevin Alves. Before graduating from school he played Rory in Mae Martin's Netflix Limited Series, Wayward. The series happened to be shot right next to John's hometown of Orangeville, Ontario.
