Jim Gloyd was born in Ohio, and a published author when he found himself on a movie set with John Travolta and Chris Meloni, that quickly kindled a passion for acting.

While working as an actor in the entertainment industry, on the principal role of Detective Bundy in the feature film "Gene Pool," he turned his second book into an award-winning screenplay, "The Wager." He Produced and acted in the film, along side of Cameron Arnett, Bishop Stevens, Buster Douglas, Ty Shelton and Jeremy Spencer.
The Wager will be released in 2020.
