Moved by the powerful city that surrounds her, she strives to create work for the community that fosters awareness of social injustices, awakens critical consciousness and engages community members to become active citizens in a multicultural world. As a member of an overlooked population, who didn’t see reflections of themselves in entertainment or positions of power , she is propelled to plant seeds empowering young people to create, be heard and expose them to the breadth of possibilities that exist. She is rooted that in the face of injustice across countless sectors, our duty as active participants of society is to fiercely call for change. She is the local architect of the New Orleans Area Living Document which chronicles the extent of white supremacy in the local theatre industry. She is a facilitator for Equity and Justice for Institutional Change with No Dream Deferred, a trained healthcare clown with Prescription Joy, a member of Actor's Equity, SAG, and an ensemble member of Goat in the Road Productions.
