Jessica Londono is a Colombian-Australian multi-award writer and director based in Western Australia, working across documentary and narrative drama. Her work explores womanhood, identity, mental health, intergenerational trauma, migration, and emotional transformation, often blending realism with magical realism.
Her feature proof of concept E-MUM (winner of Best WA Short Film, CinefestOZ; Official Selection, Flickerfest Bondi Beach 2026) is in development alongside her debut feature The Weight of Silence with Screenwest support. Her award-winning documentary Horsepower has screened internationally, and she recently completed principal photography on The Journey Within in the Colombian jungle. She was Second Unit Director on He Ain’t Heavy (SFF, MIFF; Netflix) and is commencing production on Violeta en Australia, a magical-realism short about a young girl navigating migration and postpartum trauma.
