Jerry Pearson is a choreographer/director/performer who has created projections and video for live dance performances over the last 30 years. Tai Chi First Light is his first stand alone video. Jerry is Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He performed around the world with the Murray Louis Dance Company, the Nikolais Dance Theatre, Rudolf Nureyev and Friends and the Pearson Dance Company. For twenty years he was the Artistic Director of Santa Barbara Dance Theatre. He has created over 140 dance works that have been performed by professional companies throughout the United States, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. His multi-media one-man show, Body of Work, has toured the United States, Ireland, England and New Zealand.
