Jeffrey Howe lives and works near the historic Old Town district in Florissant, Missouri. His feature and short screenplays have won over 50 competitions since June 2015. His drama feature script "Flat-rate Frank" was a top 50 semifinalist for the 2020 Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
His first produced script, "Past Partum" won Best Horror Short at the 2019 Toronto Independent Film Festival. His first directorial effort, "Ta-Da!", took Best Comedy Short honors at the 2023 Austin Revolution Film Festival.
His short fiction appears in One Teen Story, in the anthology Moon Shot: Murder and Mayhem at the Edge of Space, at Untreed Reads.com, in the quarterly anthology The First Line, and at Smashwords.
Favorite themes in his work include second chances and what people do with them, since everyone needs the occasional shot at redemption.
