I recently completed my first feature screenplay "Path of the Caterpillar". Prior to Coverfly closing its doors, the script was ranked in the top twelve percent of discoverable projects on the Coverfly Red List with limited exposure to script writing competitions. The screenplay was honored as a quarter finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards and selected to be included in festival. Since receiving these accolades the script has undergone significant re-writes. The current version was selected as an honorable mention at the New York Screenplay Competition.
Currently, I am writing a pilot that I hope to reach completion this fall. The premise involves a revolutionary new religion that gives hope to millions around the world with the ultimate objective of building a euphoric homeland in a small town in Northern California. Under the surface lives a militant group hired to guard the interests of the billionaires that created the faith.
After completing the pilot, I am excited to write another feature screenplay. I have completed a rough outline but will not continue working on the project until the pilot is completed.
Although the purpose of a bio is to feature past events, I am just beginning my journey as a writer which has always been my greatest ambition. I plan on using the same hard work and passion that built my past businesses to create emotionally charged yet entertaining projects. My creativity and imagination have only spiraled upward since writing my first screenplay.
Over the previous 20 years I have owned several successful small businesses in the real estate industry.
