Who knows how to take a not-so-great situation and turn it into gold? Jeffery “Jeff” Jackson does, and he did just that when his dream of playing major league baseball ended due to an injury. He picked up a camera for the first time in 2017 as a student at Andrew College, and realized redirection isn’t always a bad thing.
A native of Lithonia, Georgia, Jeff received his B.A. in Film & Media Production from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA in 2019 and hasn’t stopped grinding since. Co-owner of Dogon Lighting & Grip, LLC, Jeff has expanded his craft to not only include providing lighting and grip services and directing and producing commercials and music videosSome of his past projects include artists and clients such as Peewee Longway, Vedo, Jacquees, BRS Kash, Yungeen Ace and many more . On top of all of this, Jeff is most proud of the release of his first short film, “Mindf*cked” which he premiered in Atlanta, Ga in July, 2022.
His village includes not just a huge host of friends and family, but his parents, Jeff and Adrienne Jackson, his sister Tyler Jackson, and his greatest accomplishment, his son, Legend Jace Jackson. Jeff currently lives in Lithonia, GA where he’s lived his entire life, and doesn’t expect to slow down any time soon. Stay on the lookout for a sequel to “Mindf*cked” and much, much more from Jeff in the future. This young man is certainly destined for greatness!
