Jean-Cosme Delaloye is the director of DESIRE, the upcoming feature documentary of Detroit techno legend Carl Craig. He also directed SCARS WE CARRY, a hybrid documentary coming out in 2023. This film is the sequel of the 2020 documentary HARLEY that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. He also directed IN THE CROWD, a feature documentary on Argentinian hooligans. In 2018, he directed the Netflix documentary STRAY BULLET. He also directed 2 award-winning feature documentaries in Central America, LA PRENDA, which premiered at Hot Docs ins 2015 and BY MY SIDE. Jean-Cosme started out as a reporter and covered conflicts, gangs and crises extensively. He teaches a documentary master program at L’Ecole Supérieure du Journalisme in Paris and is the founder of JCDe Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
