Jean-Cosme Delaloye is the director of DESIRE: THE CARL CRAIG STORY, the feature documentary of Detroit techno legend Carl Craig that premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and that had a theatrical release in the UK, US and Italy after a 6-month run on major airlines (United, Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Virgin Atlantic). He is currently directing VOICE OF THE RAINBOW, a feature documentary on Venezuelan male soprano Samuel Mariño, and HARLEYWOOD, a wild new docu series inspired by his film HARLEY (Tribeca 2020). He also directed IN THE CROWD, a feature documentary on Argentinian hooligans, and the Netflix documentary STRAY BULLET. Prior to those films, he directed 2 award-winning feature documentaries in Central America, LA PRENDA (Hot Docs 2015) and BY MY SIDE. Jean-Cosme started out as a reporter and covered conflicts, gangs and crises extensively. He teaches a documentary master program at L’Ecole Supérieure du Journalisme in Paris and is the founder of JCDe Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
