Jay Reiter graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2010 with a BFA in film and television. He freelanced as a director for several music videos and commercials before founding his own company, Satyrn Studios, in 2015. He has released a six issue zombie comic book series called Arise, and directed a short film based on the series. As of September of 2025 he finished editing his first feature length film, Open Line. It is now being circulated in the film festival circuit.
