Jay Cunningham comes from a large family, with 7 brothers in Liverpool, England. He has been writing and researching topics for screen for years. He wrote his first script in 2002 whilst in Australia. In 2005 he tested his material in a stand up comedy competition in Liverpool; he came 2nd. In 2014 he enrolled at the Liverpool Screen School, at John Moores University, and completed a 2 year Masters Degree in Screenwriting. He is now in the process of shooting his material.
